A business operations professional, seasoned educator, and trainer with a zeal for entrepreneurship, Dr. JerMara Davis Welch is a former classroom teacher, has worked as a teacher educator and supervisor, served for four years as the Assistant Dean and Director of Teacher Education for the University of California, Riverside, and presently works in business operations management. JerMara is a graduate of the University of Arizona, wherein she received her Ph.D. in Teaching and Teacher Education in 2015. She received her Master of Arts in Education from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (emphasis in public relations) from California State University, Fullerton. She is a native of Southern California and a proud wife and mother of two.
Having a mind for business and a mentor’s heart (especially for those from culturally-marginalized, underserved communities), JerMara said, “The key thrust of the Supermodel Society is to influence, educate, and inspire through content and workshops that help young people (and the young at heart) develop life-long skills to help them thrive!” With this in mind, she believes that the Supermodel Society will be a catalyst for positive change that will help people from different walks of life to become true “Supermodels” —those who endeavor to be a light by expressing the best in themselves in a manner that inspires others to be their best all for the glory of God.
